CARES Act Higher Education Emergency 救援 Fund Reporting

In support during the Coronavirus pandemic, the federal government has passed the following sources of emergency aid to institutions of higher education.

  1. 冠状病毒援助, 救援, and Economic Security (CARES) Act signed into law on March 27, 2020, includes a Higher Education Emergency 救援 Fund (HEERF) that provided more than $14 billion in emergency funding to higher education.
  2. The Coronavirus Response and 救援 Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2021年(CRRSA法案), 于12月11日签署成为法律. 27, 2020, and provided an additional $22.7 billion to institutions of higher education.
  3. The American Rescue Plan Act (ARP) was signed into law on March 11, 2021, provides an additional $39.6 billion in additional emergency aid to institutions of higher education.

The College has been reviewing guidance from the Department of Education and has prioritized aid to students who have the highest need. The amount distributed will be updated on this page no later than 10 days after the calendar quarter (Jan. 10, April 10, July 10, and Oct. 10) per the Department of Education’s reporting requirements.

The estimated total number of students at the institution eligible to participate in programs under Section 484 in Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965 is 489. The total number of students who have received an Emergency Financial Aid Grant to 学生 under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act is 493.
